SUPPLIES FOR 2007-08 SCHOOL YEAR

Special Note: Please do not purchase rolling backpacks or trapper keepers. They do not fit in the lockers or desks and space is limited in the classroom. Thank you for your cooperation.

KINDERGARTEN

2 boxes of 24 crayons

1 pair blunt Fiskars scissors

1 package skinny pencils

20 glue sticks (the kind with the twist bottom)

2 4-oz. bottles Elmer's white glue

1 package WASHABLE markers

1 small plastic school box

1 thin size nap mat for rest time

1 backpack

1 change of clothes to be kept at school (labeled with name)

Optional but helpful supplies:

tissues, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, construction paper, Ziplock plastic bags

FIRST GRADE

24 count "Crayola" crayons or Twistable crayons

1 pair of blunt "Fiskars" scissors (These cut better)

12 pencils (skinny)

1 4-oz. bottle "Elmer's" school glue (doesn't clog up)

(2) handwriting tablets (at least 8 lines) get at school book store for $1.00

1 70-sheet spiral notebook (wide-ruled)

2 dry-erase markers

Backpack - NO WHEELS PLEASE!

Optional but helpful supplies:

tissues, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, construction paper

Boys: brown paper lunch sacks, quart size Ziplock bags

Girls: thin paper plates, gallon size Ziplock bags

SECOND GRADE

1 box of 24 crayons

1 pair blunt Fiskars scissors

pencils (#2 lead, no fat pencils needed)

2 glue sticks (the kind with the twist bottom)

1 bottle liquid school glue

2 packages loose-leaf notebook paper (wide-ruled)

2 dry-erase markers

2 highlighters

PLEASE NO rolling backpacks, trapper keepers, pencil boxes, or spiral notebooks.

THIRD GRADE

1 box of 24 crayons

1 pair small sharp scissors

1 4-oz. bottle white glue

1 dry-erase marker

3 packs of wide-ruled notebook paper  (about 200 sheets per pack)

1 pack of No. 2 pencils

small plastic pencil box--to be determined by teacher. NO supply boxes needed in Mrs. McDaniel's room please.
