Note:

The site "Scott Foresman Task Cards for SPIs" (This is my name for the site.) is one I learned about at TETC. The following is an explanation of the site given by the presenter, Peggy Tribble, CTT Shelby County Schools.

"In an effort to assist our fourth and fifth grade teachers, we created Task Cards for all ILA SPIs that integrate Language Arts Reading Stories with either Science or Social Studies Activities. These activities are correlated with each reading story for the year using the Scott Foresman Reading Street Program, but may be used in any order or with any other reading program. Teachers may use these task cards as independent center activities for students not working directly with the teacher for reading instruction.
