D.  Leadership Activities in Professional Development

1.      I am currently the school technology contact person, which involves helping fellow teachers solve technological problems.

2.  I have served as a mentor for new teachers at both Michie and Chester County.       

In addition to mentoring, I was assigned the task of helping a new teacher by demonstrating effective teaching methods and evaluating and giving recommendations on how this teacher could be more effective.

3.      I co-taught a class on “How to Use PowerPoint in the Classroom” for west Tennessee teachers at the technology fair through Jackson State. (1996)

4.      In 1998, I helped begin and operate the technology lab for CCJHS.
