Computer Class
Teacher: Mrs. Moore
Your child is beginning the first of two computer classes. Students will be with me for a period of nine weeks. The priority of this class is to enhance the content of the academic classes offered at CCJHS. We will be working with academic software that will prepare individualize lessons for your child in math and science. We will also review PowerPoint software so that students can continue using multi-media software and the Internet to work on research-based projects. For the first 15 minutes of class students will work with computer software that will help them increase their typing speed and accuracy. I look forward to helping each student become more proficient in the area of computer literacy!
If you need to meet with me concerning the interest of your child, please make an appointment with me to meet during my planning period (2:00 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.). You may also email me at moorek01@k12tn.net.
Approximately 120 students will share equipment such as a keyboard and mouse in a day’s time. To help combat the spreading of germs - I am suggesting that students might want to use an anti-bacterial hand sanitizer.
Materials Needed: pen and loose leaf notebook - I will supply the folder. NO MECHANICAL PENCILS.
