LIBRARY POLICIES ACCELERATED READER EVENTS
CHECK OUT:
Books will be checked out for a 1 week period. Library books may be renewed (checked out again) for an additional 1 week loan period unless the title is on hold for another student or teacher.
CARE OF BOOKS:
During the time that a library book is checked out, the user is responsible for the care of the book. Lost or damaged books must be paid for by the student who checked out the book. Every effort will be made to locate lost books before payment is requested.
OVERDUE BOOKS:
Overdue lists are created each week and are given to students. This list will give all information needed about the book that the student has checked out.

Read Across America Week
In observance of this week, everyone is asked to dress according to this schedule:
Monday- Wear a hat
Tuesday- Wear mismatched socks
Wednesday- Wear red and white
Thursday- Wear stripes
Friday- Read-a-thon for those teachers who want to participate.
BOOK SWAP
Our annual Book Swap will be on Thursday
November 8th. If you have "gently
used books" at home that your child has read, he/she can bring them to the
library on Thursday mornings from 7:45 AM - 8:30 AM.
Please make sure there are no markings in the books, that they are in good
to mint condition, and that the books are appropriate for Kindergarten-
Third grade level students. No baby board books and no used coloring
books,
please. There will be a form for you to fill out when you bring your
books.
We will need your child's name, teacher's name and the number of books that
you donate.
