Chester County School Board Policies
The policies of the Chester County School System are available through the Tennessee School Board Association Web site.
The school system is required to inform parents regarding a number of issues including, but not limited to: professional qualifications of teachers, school-wide programs, smoking policy, weapons policy, and school directories. These notifications are available here.
Chester County Non-Discrimination Policy
It is the policy of the Chester County Board of Education that no public school student shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in any program or activity on account of the student's race, color, national origin, sex, religion, English language proficiency, or handicapping condition. If you feel you have been discriminated against in one of the department's educational programs or activities, you are encouraged to bring the matter to the attention of your local principal for discussion and resolution. The Chester County School System offers a wide range of Career and Technical Education programs, which consist of Agricultural Sciences, Business Technology, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health Science, Criminal Justice, and Auto Technology. Special Populations are also available for Disadvantaged and Handicapped Students. The Chester County School and Nutrition Program offers healthy meals every school day. Your children may qualify for free meals or reduced price meals. Information is provided on the school meal application given by each school at the beginning of the school year.
